How do I clean my device?

A very simple and effective way is by using warm water. Simply take your tank off the battery mod and remove your coil. Place the tank parts into the bowl for 5 minutes and then rinse them under the tap. After you dry all parts carefully, replace your coil with a fresh one and refill with your chosen e-liquid.

How do I know when to change my coil?

Usually when the coil is due to be replaced you might get an unpleasant burnt taste, weak flavour and/or gurgling noise. Other signs may be that your tank is leaking or producing low vapour that will only get worse with time. This is when you know you should replace your coil.

Why is my vape leaking?

A very common reason for a leaking tank is when it has been overfilled. This will cause the coil to become flooded, so it’s important to keep to the manufacturer’s suggested filling levels. It will also help if you replace the coil regularly. Keep an eye on it for cracks, perished O-rings or even a loose top cap. Leave the tank standing upright and slightly increase power settings if you’re experiencing this issue.

How do I know what strength of nicotine I should be using?

In simple terms higher nicotine levels will give a more intense throat hit and a more substantial amount of nicotine. An ex-smoker of 20-a-day upwards will need higher levels and, on some occasions, 20mg Nic Salt e-liquids will be the better choice. Average smokers who are likely to get through less than a pack a day are more likely to benefit from 6-12mg nicotine or 10mg Nic Salts.

What's the difference between Nic Salts and Traditional 10mls?

Freebase nicotine (Traditional 10mls) are often vaped at lower strengths and suitable for continual vaping. They give a greater throat hit when inhaled and have a slower release of nicotine into the body. Whereas Nic Salts are smoother to inhale but contain a purer extraction of nicotine. These are absorbed into the body quicker, making them a great option for smokers who have recently switched over to vaping. If you are or were a heavier smoker who requires a higher strength e-liquid to stave off the cravings, then nicotine salts might be a better option for you.

How do I know the right device for me?

Mouth-To-Lung (MTL) means inhaling by filling the mouth with vapour before further inhaling into the lungs. This resembles the way you puff a cigarette and, on many occasions, it makes for a better first starter kit. Direct-To-Lung inhale (DTL/DL) means sinhaling vapour straight to the lung and it feels as if you breathe through it. DL vaping is mainly used for vapes that have wide open airflow and sub-ohm vape coils. There is no substitute for coming into your local store to discuss your specific needs with a trained member of staff when you decide the time is right to quit smoking

Why won’t my battery charge?

The first thing to do is a visual inspection of the charger and the charging port for any damages to make sure it’s clean and free from e-liquid or debris. Make sure you are always using a designated e-cigarette adaptor and USB cable.

What charging power input is correct for my device?

Always check the instructions that come with your device. Battery capacity and voltage vary between devices. As a rule of thumb plugs with a higher amperage than 1 Amp are unsuitable to use with smaller, older devices as their batteries are unable to handle the higher currents. Newer or larger vapes are generally able to cope with the 2 Amp plugs supplied for phones and other portable devices, but the rule is if you are unsure, use a lower power output. It is also not advised to leave your e-cigarette unattended while charging or leave it charging overnight.
